General Purpose Pit
This type of pit is used to retain suspended solids and floatable material from various types of processes.

The Halgan Silt Trap is a basic stormwater management system that is used for capturing soil that has been washed away from sites.
Undersink Dilution Trap
The Halgan Under Sink Dilution Tank is used for treatment of waste water from laboratories, schools, technical colleges or any application where acids or alkalinise are used
Averaging Dilution Tanks
Halgans Averaging Dilution tank is used to average/neutralise, acidic/ alkaline waste water prior to discharging to the sewer system. The inlet and outlet design provide a swirling effect in the flow of the waste water which assists in mixing within the Pit.
Cooling Pits
The Halgan Cooling Pit is used for treatment of waste water from Launderette, Commercial/Industrial laundry and boiler blow down. In some applications where large quantities of hot waste water is discharged, it may be required to install a cooling tower to lower the temperature.
Acid Neutralising Arrestor
The Halgan acid neutralising trap is used to stabilise pH levels of waste water that may contain high levels of acid, before it is discharged into the sewer.
Fish Scale Trap
The Halgan Fish scale Trap is used to trap plaster and other fine material in the waste water prior to discharging to the sewer system.
