Halgan Pty Ltd have acquired Roto Industries Pty Ltd, a rotational moulding company based in Pakenham, Melbourne.
The acquisition will better serve the needs of the market in Victoria with localised production and sales offices, increased manufacturing facilities and the addition of a highly skilled and specialised rotational moulding team that is AS4766 certified and water marked.
This investment represents an important strategic milestone, leveraging Halgan’s trade waste brand, alongside Roto Industries manufacturing expertise, to create a complete national presence by increasing our ability to supply, support and service national contracts.
About Halgan and Roto Industries
Halgan Pty Ltd, an Australian owned company, established in 1996, specialises in all aspects of waste water treatment. From the initial manufacturing of treatment products, right through to the consultation and sales process, Halgan provides a superior product with stringent quality assurance, and also provides liquid trade waste servicing and cleaning.
Halgan’s head office and manufacturing plant is based in western Sydney at Wetherill Park, and has another manufacturing plant and sales office at Crestmead, Brisbane. The Wetherill Park facility is currently commissioning a liquid waste treatment plant to complete the manufacture, sales, service cycle.
Roto Industries is an AS4766 certified and water marked rotomoulding company based in Pakenham Victoria, and has five rotational moulding machines, with another to be commissioned in 2022. They contract manufacture products including rainwater tanks, playground equipment, dangerous goods bunding and Halgan trade waste products.
Roto Industries was founded in 2011 by David Stoopman and Andrew Page who have over 30 years of industry experience behind them. Both David and Andrew will continue to play an integral part in the day to day operations of the company.

Sydney Water clearly states that greasy wastewater generated by kitchen activities should drain wherever possible by gravity to a grease arrestor and then by gravity to their sewer main via house sanitary drainage incorporating a boundary trap to their sewer infrastructure.
Don’t install a pumped system just for convenience.
So, what do we do if a gravity connection to or from a grease arrestor installed on a project to accept and treat greasy wastewater?
